Culture, Values and a Balanced Organization: Web 3.1 Video
Bill Leider on creating high performing Web 3.0 Cultures
We were fortunate to have our leadership Web 3.1 Leadership track kicked off by Bill Leider, sharing his wisdom on the importance, design, and management of culture within organizations. With over 35 years of senior leadership and management consulting experience, Bill is the managing partner at Axies Group. He has worked with Fortune 500 companies as well as startups in a wide range of industries. He has previously served as a CEO of a publicly traded company. He is the author of “Mastering your Balance”.
He also is the inspiration for the Web 3.1 Leadership Summit theme, “What will it take?” - a powerful tool he uses to enable leaders to take their people beyond their self limiting beliefs, to achieve the improbable, you have to be able to imagine the impossible.
In his session, “Culture, Values and a Balanced Organization”, which you can view in full below, he started with another question. He said “how can we meet the challenge of web three? What's your part?”
His answer? To develop a balanced organization as a leader, learning how to work with and use the power of the question, what would it take? He then shares some case studies from his personal experience that highlight how bringing values and cultures together to strengthen balance works. In his view, a balanced organization is aligned readiness, to always be adaptable and at the ready to support whatever the market brings your way, just as a tennis player does when waiting to return a serve.
His plea for today’s emergent Web3 organizational leaders is to make Web 3 “the essence of a life well lived”.
Watch his 30 minute presentation, “Culture, Values and a Balanced Organization” below, and share your thoughts with us on how this resonates with you and your current organization.
