You may remember (and still use) this important piece of technology called BitTorrent.
The inventor, engineer, puzzle maker, scientist, entrepreneur, and all around good guy behind it is Bram Cohen.
Many years ago now, our co-host Tina Hui was talking to him in Silicon Valley, when he said (paraphrasing not quoting) “I’m not sure this Bitcoin blockchain is as good as it needs to be, I’m going to build my own blockchain and my own crypto currency.”
After many years and a lot of work, that idea is now a reality called Chia.
And once again, Bram has created something truly remarkable. Not only is it more energy efficient, according to many, his approach of “Proof of Time and Space” is filled with more potential than most other emerging technologies.
